2021 Stimulus Package: The Rundown

This week, the U.S. House will be voting on the latest COVID relief bill with a proposed $1.9 trillion in funding, putting the bill on track for a vote in the Senate in coming weeks, and potentially putting stimulus checks in pockets as soon as mid-March.

Below is a quick reference chart with a breakdown of estimated check amounts by household income, based on current writing of the bill.

Chart Showing the Stimulus Check Amounts
As outlined above, adults making less than $75,000 annually would receive checks in the amount of $1,400, Heads of Household making under $112,500 would also receive checks, along with couples making less than $150,000. Dependents would also receive $1,400 and in a departure from the last stimulus package, adult dependents will be eligible to receive checks. Still under debate are income limits for who will receive stimulus funding.
